Nadia has spent more than 23 years working in the medical field as a clinician and
educator, caring for patients. Yet she often says that her deepest lessons did not come
from textbooks or classrooms, but from raising her son Ali, a child with special needs.
As Ali’s mother, Nadia has walked alongside families facing complex medical,
emotional, and financial challenges. Out of that lived experience grew a heartfelt
desire to ease the burden for others. She founded Ali’s Hope Foundation to give back
to the special need community and to make sure other children like Ali receive the
essentials they deserve.
As Founder and President, Nadia leads the foundation’s vision and operations,
building relationships with organizations, families, and donors. She is dedicated to
turning both her professional experience and personal journey into practical support
for special need kids
Ammar Khan
Co-Founder & Youth Ambassador
Ammar, Ali’s loving older brother and strongest advocate, is a dedicated high school student and an aspiring future doctor. He dreams of a career where he can help children like Ali move, play, and live with less pain.
To Ali, Ammar is more than a sibling—he is a protector, cheerleader, and best friend.
He proudly calls himself Ali’s biggest fan, celebrating every small milestone and
bringing fun, laughter, and comfort into Ali’s daily life.
Ammar believes deeply that all lives matter and that the world becomes better when
people choose to give—whether it is time, kindness, or resources. He lives by the idea
of “giving forward,” using his voice and example to show that sharing our wealth and
happiness can create real change. Through his role with Ali’s Hope Foundation,
Ammar represents the next generation of compassionate leaders committed to making
a lasting difference in the world.
Salman Khan
Chief Operating Officer
Salman Khan is an experienced IT consultant and devoted father to Ali, whose journey
fuels his passion for this mission. His expertise in building systems, solving complex
problems, and leading teams allows him to transform compassion into organized,
measurable impact for families of special need kids.
As Chief Operating Officer, Salman drives the daily operations of Ali’s Hope
Foundation with focus and intention. He oversees everything from supply sourcing and
distribution to technology, outreach, and program implementation, ensuring that every
diaper, nutritional shake, and piece of adaptive equipment reaches those who need it
most.
Away from operations meetings and planning sessions, Salman loves to play
cricket—a sport that reflects his team‑oriented mindset and disciplined approach. He
brings that same spirit to Ali’s Hope Foundation, balancing strategy with heart and
keeping Ali and other special need kids at the center of every decision. Salman
believes deeply in lifting others up, and he channels that commitment into empowering
families, expanding the foundation’s reach, and honoring Ali’s legacy through
meaningful action.
